Uglii Find

When a business or organisation is first registered, it is given an Uglii. This is the Unique Geographical Location which the business occupies in the world and is represented as a dot on the online Uglii Mapping System.

When someone searching Uglii Find clicks on an Uglii, the business-information is displayed such as Name, Address and Contact details and a brief business description. Businesses can have an Uglii for each location they specify.

Ugliis are one of 4 colours.

Black Uglii

When a business is first registers, its Uglii will be BLACK. A black Uglii indicates to anyone searching the system that the business details are accurate and up to date. The Uglii Systems will prompt all registered businesses every six months to log onto its individual control panel and confirm or update the accuracy of information.

(If a business has a GREY Uglii, this means that the basic business information is listed but they have not logged on and verified that the information is current and accurate. This listing may have been originally entered by one of the business’ suppliers who employs them as a reseller or agent. Simply completing the online verification process will upgrade a Grey Uglii to BLACK.)

To maintain a BLACK Uglii is FREE for all business and all Uglii Searches are FREE to use for everyone.

Premium Uglii (Green Uglii)

A GREEN or Premium Uglii is aimed at businesses that don’t have or want a website but would like to stand out from its competitors. A Premium Uglii can be purchased online for around $70 per year and gives the business an online equivalent of a Full Page / Full Colour Ad when someone clicks on this Uglii.

Uglii Link (Blue Uglii)

A BLUE Uglii or Uglii Link is most prominent Uglii a business can upgrade to. Uglii Links are purchased online for around $250 per year and provides the most comprehensive information about a business because by clicking on an Uglii Link, anyone searching the Uglii Find System will be instantly transferred to the business own Website.

All businesses with an Uglii Link will also receive a fully interactive map imbedded in its own website showing the exact business location.

Most businesses will purchase one of these two services soon after registration to ensure that they stand out from their competitors.

Uglii Brands

To enable all businesses to accurately list all commodities (products and services) they market, the creators of the Uglii Systems have developed an all new and unique universal listing and coding system for products and services and related brands and models in each economy. These definitions are utilised by all Uglii Systems for listings and searches.

Previously, the most comprehensive product and service listings was UNSPSC developed by the UN with around 20,000 definitions. Uglii Brands has developed over 700,000 standard definitions of products and services. This means that businesses will be able to accurately select which definitions to use when listing their products or services and in turn, anyone searching for the Uglii Systems for products or services can very accurately define their search.

In addition to having over 700,000 standard definitions, each definition has been allocated a unique code number which the system uses for searching. The big advantage here is that any user can search for the supplier of a commodity or a product or a model or a service across all countries in all languages.

All of this means potential new customers, using any fixed or mobile device, can find businesses in the Uglii Systems by searching one or more parameters such as – name, suburb, state, country, distance from their current location, distance from a point on the map, by product, brand, service, accepted payment methods and only receive results that exactly match their search parameters.

Locator Services

Locator services can be purchased online by any registered business from its individual control panel. A tailored version of the Uglii find system will be embedded into the business’ own website allowing visitors to search all outlets across the world or around the corner that provide its service or sell its products.

There are several locator services available. If a business organisation has a number of branches, it can purchase a Store Locator Service which would show all branch locations on the interactive Uglii Find Map embedded in its website. A Credit Card Company would purchase a Merchant Locator Service which would give the location of all its merchants or when a manufacturer markets its particular brand of products through a network of wholesalers and/or retailers, it could buy a Re-seller Locator Service.

Additionally, there are Uglii Credentialing Services which allow industry groups or ranking organisations to credential businesses such as is the case of a CPA or Industry Standard Institutes that set quality levels such as ISO.

Any business that purchases one of the Uglii Locator Services for its own website or an Uglii Credentialing Service would pay an annual fee based on the number of branches, merchants, re-sellers or businesses it lists for discovery.

Uglii Marketplace Systems (available Q3-2011)

The Uglii B2B (Business to Business) & B2C (Business to Consumer) Systems will provide a new and powerful way for all businesses, large and small, to utilise the speed and reach of the Internet. These dynamic systems will allow businesses or individuals to make anonymous requests for a product or service and specify, for example, their quantity, delivery and payment method requirements.

The Uglii Systems will search out all suppliers that fit the request parameters and notify them, providing a flow of qualified leads. The suppliers will then automatically or selectively respond by making an offer or sending a quote.
